Peppermint Forest | Asset ID: 339228146This fantasy composite is a companion piece to the Explorers series, it is yet another feature of the landscape the Explorers are currently traversing. Whatever was contaminating the soil was of course seeping into the trees through their roots, in this case the result was visually pleasing, even if it was at the peril of the trees themselves. The Explorers encountered many such visually pleasing, yet deadly scenes on their journey.

Sun Baked | Asset ID: 336793688It was towards the end of a long, hot day out in the sun with almost no shade or breeze to ease the heat. As I walked I closed my eyes, but could still see the impression of the landscape ahead burned into my retinas. This artwork is my best visual representation of the sun baked optical illusion I experienced on that hot late summer day.

Although magnificent, the landscape was also poisoned, and the Explorers had to take care when traversing through the radiated fields of contaminated plant life, even in their state as a projected form of energy the plants posed a significant threat. Clearly whatever life forms that once inhabited this place had long ago been destroyed by the contamination they had unleashed into the wilderness.
